Check-in and Check-out procedure

Check-in is available from the first day of your reservation from 14:00. After the first day of your reservation, your check-in time is not limited.

Check-out has to be processed until 10:00 on the last day of your reservation. If you wish to keep your luggage in the luggage room, ask at the reception. The luggage room is for free.

Basic information

The Dormitory is placed approximately 35 minutes from the CZU campus - in a former hotel. The prices begin at 8200 CZK!

Part A of the Dormitory:

Double room type standard - price: 8 850 CZK per bed per month (deposit 26 550 CZK)

It is possible to borrow a dish at the reception desk for free.

There is also a laundry room in the West dormitory. One cycle costs 100 CZK.

Reservation, Payment and Cancellation conditions

Reservation conditions:

Please book your room only after you have a Czech visa. If you do not need visa or you already have it, please proceed with booking HERE.
The minimum length of stay at the Residence Hall WEST is 4 months. It is not possible to select a shorter stay in the reservation system.
When selecting the dates of your accommodation you can only choose the first day of the month for check-in and the last day of the month for check-out.

Payment conditions:

After selecting the dates in the Booking system, your bed/room will be pre-reserved and you will be instructed to pay the Reservation Fee in the amount of three months Rent (26 550,- / 29 970,- / 39 600,- / 43 470,- CZK and proportionally higher from 1st of Janury 2024). Upon receiving the payment of the Reservation Fee, your bed/room will be reserved. Once you Check-in, the Reservation Fee becomes your Security Deposit, which is returned to you after the end of your accommodation.
Prior to taking over the bed/room, you will be asked to pay an annual fee for concluding the contract in the amount of 1250,- CZK.
During Check-in you will be asked to pay 400,- CZK at the reception for a year-long liability insurance contract tailored to being accommodated at the Dormitory West.
Rent for each calendar month must be paid no later than the 20th day of the previous month. Penalties apply for late payments.
At the end of the stay, if the client has duly paid all obligations and does not have any amount due on his ISKAM account, then the Security Deposit is returned to him/her within one month on the card from which the payments were made.

Cancellation conditions:

The reserved dates through the Booking system are definite. Any shortening of the stay is subject to a cancellation policy connected to a deduction from the Security Deposit.
Once you pay the Reservation Fee and decide to cancel your stay, cancellation conditions apply. Only if you cancel the reservation by email to west@kam.czu.cz 91 days before check-in, you will be fully refunded. Special conditions apply in the case of force majeure. Once you check-in the Dormitory West and decide to cancel your stay, cancellation conditions apply. The compensation price for early termination of the Agreement is determined by the time between the date of early check-out and the original date of termination specified in the signed Agreement. The compensation can reach up to the amount of the Security Deposit. Special conditions apply in the case of force majeure. See point 4.8 of the Terms and conditions downloadable here.
